Teachers of the Department of Surgical Diseases, Tashkent Medical Academy prof. O.R.Teshaev, ass. A.S. Murodov and ass. U.S.Ruziev participated in the 1-nd Kazakhstan International Congress of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgeons “Bariatric Surgery in the Treatment of Metabolic Sundrome” in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan, from 02.07.2018 to 07.07.2018. During the Congress, global problems of metabolic and bariatric surgery and its solutions have been studied internationally. The acquired knowledge and skills are being used effectively to increase the level of knowledge of the TTA students and to provide highly-qualified care to patients suffering from this illness.
The Ι-th Kazakhstan International Congress on Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery to be hosted by the Society of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgeons of Kazakhstan. The acronym for the congress: KaSBariMeT-2018 (KazakhstanSurgicalBariatricMetabolicTreatment-2018).
KaSBariMeT-2018 is an international platform for presenting achievements on metabolic and bariatric surgery and related topics. This problem is first discussed in Central Asia. The purpose of the congress is the key lectures of leaders of bariatric and metabolic surgery and the exchanging of ideas about medical, social effects of bariatric metabolic surgery.
KaSBariMeT-2018 will promote the spread of knowledge in a large Euroasian region, where obesity and type 2 diabetes are rapidly expanding. The Congress will be a great contribution of participants for preventing problems caused by obesity for the benefit of society.
